The two recognized official languages of
the state of Hawaii are English and Hawaiian, but because of the
diverse ethnic cultures of the residents of Hawaii there
is a multitude of languages spoken throughout the islands including
Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Samoan, and Chinese just to name a few.
Anywhere you go in
Hawaii people are able
to speak English so if your a tourist traveling to Hawaii English
should be the language of choice while on the islands.
