The Maui Arts & Cultural Center is located
in Kahului, Hawaii, and is a great place to visit if you have any
interest in Hawaiian culture and history. Opened in 1994, it was the
culmination of many years of work to get it created. The local people
wanted a place that they could share and celebrate their common
heritage and the deep, rich history of Hawaii. Today, it attracts
visitors to Kahului from all over. Around a quarter million people
visit the MACC each and every year. If you're in the area, at any
time of the year, there's |
likely going
to be a performance here that you'd be interested in seeing. With over
1,800 different events every year, there's something for everyone.
From ballet to the symphony to major music and theater productions,
the Maui Arts and Cultural Center is the place for a lot of different
performances that really showcase all Hawaii has to offer. It
highlights the artistic talent available on the islands.
If you're already in paradise and want to see great visual or
performance art, there's no better place to get either or both. Once
you take in a show or two, you're going to see why the locals think of
it as a treasure. The Maui Arts and Cultural Center is a special place
because of all the great people associated with it - from the owners
