Located at 1801 Kalakaua Avenue in
Honolulu, the Hawaii Convention Center opened in 1998. Constructed
at a cost of several hundred million dollars, the huge complex is
located near 10,000 or more hotel rooms, which makes it a prime
location to serve up the Hawaiian style to those who need space
for large conventions or meetings. It's sort of a gem in the crown
of Honolulu. Even if you're not attending a convention at the
location, it's still a spectacular display of architecture and
Hawaiian style.
From the palm trees to the roofs reminiscent of |
nature to the indoors decorated with
nature themes, the Hawaii Convention Center is one of the largest
projects ever undertaken on Hawaii. And, it could be said, one of the
island's most impressive projects. As you walk through the massive
location, you can't help but feel you're experiencing the real Hawaii.
A lot of attention was paid to all the small details, which really
shows.
If you're in the area, you need to come up with a reason to visit. If
you have a reason, there's a good chance you're going to enjoy the
convention center. With a great location and a modern and impressive
architectural design, this is a place you want to see, if even from a
distance. And it's quite impressive, even at a distance. Whether
you're into architecture or you just like a good experience in an
amazing building, you're most likely going to be enamored by the
Hawaii Convention Center.
