Located in the lobby of the Honolulu
International Airport, the Pacific Aerospace Museum will fill you
in on Hawaii's rich history when it comes to the aerospace
industry. Whether it's the full size mock-up of the Space Shuttle
or actual pieces of the US space program, there are a lot of
things to see and experience. If you're just getting to the
airport in Hawaii or you're getting ready to leave, this can be a
great way to spend an hour or so.
Granted, if you visit the Pacific Aerospace Museum, you're going
to end up learning something, but the |
good news is that it won't feel like you're learning something.
(Sometimes, that's the best type of learning there is!) Besides
learning, some of the stuff is just outright cool. If you loved Star
Wars and Star Trek, seeing the real thing is going to be pretty
exciting. Even if you're not a sci-fi nerd, you're going to find this
museum at least a little interesting.
The flight deck replica of the space shuttle is probable one of the
biggest draws. Being able to experience this in person (even if it
isn't "real") is a pretty fascinating thing. If you're going to be in
the airport anyway, this can be a great way pass a little time in
between other destinations or events. If you're in the Honolulu
International Airport, you're going to want to check out the Pacific
Aerospace Museum.
