Park, Tantalus Lookout is a great destination if you are on the
island of Oahu. That is, if you like lush, green rain forests and
spectacular views. With a breathtaking view of of Diamond Head,
Punchbowl Crater, and Honolulu, if you are in the area this is
somewhere you simply must stop. You can also see Pearl Harbor from
here and a lot of other sites and destinations around the island.
And don't worry, the journey to this destination is half the fun.

area where many a traveler has gazed down at the beauty that is
Hawaii. If you are wanting to experience a big picture view of the
beauty of nature, Tantalus Lookout should be on your "to see" list.
If you are planning to go, you can call 808-587-0166 (the Hawaii
Department of Land and Natural Resources) for information on hiking
trips and other activities at the park. Or, if you are more
adventurous, you can head out without calling and "wing it." There are
so many things to see and do at Tantalus Lookout that you are sure to
find something that makes you happy or just step back and say, "wow."
If you are on Oahu and want to see the "best view" in the area, you
need to make this a priority before you leave Hawaii.
