Sandy's Beach on the island of Oahu,
Hawaii is considered one of the most dangerous beaches in the world
because of its large, powerful shorebreak waves and strong rip
currents during high surf. Sandy's is an extremely popular surf
spot for body boarders, and is usually very crowded during times of
the year when the surf is high on the east coast of Oahu. Make
sure to read all signs and postings on the beach before entering into
the water if your new to Sandy's Beach. Even though the waters
may look calm it still can be very dangerous at Sandy's Beach.
