Oahu is the main island of
Hawaii where the capitol city of Honolulu and the famous Waikiki Beach is
located. The one Don Ho, Pearl Harbor, and the fictitious
"Hawaii Five O" (which never really existed) . Known to the ancient
Hawaiians as "The Gathering Place", Oahu is truly one of the most
beautiful Islands in the world. Total area of Oahu is 594 sq. miles (44 miles long and 30 miles wide)
and 112 miles of breath-taking coastline. Oahu is the most populated
of all the Hawaiian Islands with over 950,000 residents. The highest
point is Kaala Peak with an elevation of 4,003 ft above sea-level. |
